Releasing one of my last Untreated Green to Purple Color Changing Alexandrites from Brazil. Excellent quality stone with a well defined color change. Alexandrite is one of the top three rarest gemstones in the world. It is highly sought after for its scarcity, natural beauty and mystical allure. The locality known to produce the best gem quality Alexandrite in the world is Russia. Most of this material has been mined out long ago and is almost impossible to find at a reasonable price on today's market. So with Russian Alexandrite nearly non existent where does the best gem quality Alexandrite come from? Brazil is the current world leader in producing the highest quality gemstones of Alexandrite. This gemstone showcases the locality nicely and is a good example of Alexandrite from Brazil. Pictures fail to do this gem any justice. It looks much nicer in person.
